Kala-fornia: State of the Art 3 – Gala Auction to Benefit Kala Art Institute Kala Art Institute invites you to experience Kala-fornia: State of the Art 3, a two-week exhibition and auction of works by prominent California artists. The exhibition culminates on the night of Saturday, April 27 with a lively Gala Auction, featuring fine wine and exquisite foods. Proceeds support the educational and cultural programming of Kala Art Institute, a non-profit arts organization located in West Berkeley. For thirty-nine years, Kala's artist residency programs, gallery exhibitions, lectures, classes and innovative youth arts-outreach in public schools has served an ever-expanding community.
