Join us on Saturday, April 27th from 2-4pm and again on Saturday, June 29th from 2-4pm for the Bedford Gallery’s Art Makes program! For each show the Bedford hosts, Docents offer a free Art Make project for children of all ages. An excellent way to introduce the young people in your life to the creative world of art work, projects will highlight the theme of the exhibition and offer children an opportunity to engage with art in a hands-on, educational, and creative way!
In April, our Docents will craft an art project around our annual juried exhibition, Peaceable Kingdom: Animals Real and Imagined, and in June, they will turn their attention to Larger than Life, a show that will explore the role of scale and size in contemporary art. Art projects will be offered free with the price of admission. Remember, children under the age of 12 are always free at the Bedford! Details will be available on our website, www.bedfordgallery.org.
Join us, and participate in this wonderful new program, intended to bring art into the hearts of all young people in the Diablo Region!
