Contemporary jeweler Arline Fisch leads this hands-on workshop on knitting and crocheting with wire, using a spool knitter. Participants will adapt the techniques that Arline uses to create the jellyfish sculptures in Creatures from the Deep. You will knit and crochet with coated copper wire (in gorgeous colors) to create a vibrant hanging jellyfish and a slip-on bracelet to wear.
Don't miss this special opportunity to learn from a true Living Treasure of California!
Workshop co-sponsored by the Metal Arts Guild.
$85 for MCD members / $100 for non-members / $85 for Metal Arts Guild members. Reservations required; limited space. The cost of materials is included in the workshop fee.
