As San Francisco prepares for artMRKT & ArtPad week, on the same weekend Misho Gallery springs "FORWARD" with an exhibition showcasing 13 Bay Area artists. Follow these artists, as they present their perception of "FORWARD" with their paintings, mixed media and photography. Experience the emotional ties from whispering stillness to the explosive colors of textures and strokes from each artist. Each artwork is personal and provides a "FORWARD" connection to the viewer. What is the story behind each piece of artwork?
All artists will be present at Opening Reception to relate their stories and to share their concepts and process behind their works.
Artists include: Tracy Fetter, Jimmy Gao Ko, Matthew Kowalski, MingMing Liang, Joanne Ludwig, Judith Threadgill, Jenny Wantuch, Kathleen Welter, John Zaklikowski and the Photo Noveau Group: Lennell Allen, Misho, Xavier Phelps and Wendell Shinn.
Gallery hours: Thursday-Saturday, 1-4pm and by appointment
Exhibition ends - Saturday, May 25, 1-4pm
