What is drawing anyway? Is it the use of certain materials? Is it visual structure, or facility in creating a likeness of something? This fast-moving, two-day workshop explores the principles of drawing in a way relevant to each individual participant. It investigates potentials of visual principles from the dramatic abstract possibilities of positive and negative space, form and scale to the expressive opportunities found in the highly personal representation of objects as simple as an apple.
