Artist Talk with Sabine Reckewell and Rachel Abrams Moderated by Brian Longe. Please join us for an artist talk with Brian Longe, Rachel Abrams and Sabine Reckewell at Chandra Cerrito Contemporary. Brian Longe received his BA and MA in art practice and art history at Cal State Fullerton. He received his MFA from UC Irvine and during that time, was awarded a fellowship and exhibited his paintings at the Long Beach Museum, the LA County Museum of Art and the Newport Harbor Art Museum (later called the Orange County Museum of Art). He has taught at several California institutions including UC Berkeley and Mills College. Longe was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts grant and a Pollock/Krasner grant. His work has been exhibited in a number of solo and group exhibitions, including the Lawson/De Celle Gallery and Rena Bransten Gallery in San Francisco, the Ipomal Gallery in the Netherlands and the Klein Gallery in Chicago.
