Windows on Nature
Gallery Reception: July 03, 6:00 to 9:00 pm "Windows on Nature" follows on the success of Frey Norris Gallery's American debut exhibition for Koh Myung Keun in June, 2006. No, this is not a National Geographic-style investigation of wildlife on the African savannah. "Windows on Nature" represents a focusing of Koh's unique eye on the natural processes of interwoven eco-systems that are all around us. Koh's sculptures promote the wonders of biodiversity and protection of such resplendent life, captured in objects built of state-of-the-art printed plastics. Each photo-sculpture is a collection of overlayed high-definition snapshots that create ghost-like windows into the everyday world of the non-urban.
