DECADES is an independent annual magazine based in San Francisco that covers food, fashion, gore and intellectualism. Their first issue, The Beet Stain, debuted a year ago.
Petaluma features articles on cremation and turtle preservation, illustration and photography, a fashion editorial based on the story of Polly Klass, a food feature with local chefs such as William Werner from Craftsman and Wolves and Ryan Farr from 4505 Meats, and all you need to know about DIY Breast Implants. Throughout the year Decades fundraises for future issues by hosting art shows, literary markets, music shows and film nights. Past events include a literary market co-hosted with YesYesYes Magazine at Vacation Vintage, a Winona Ryder film night at the Cinecave at Lost Weekend and a music show with A White Hunter at the Knockout.
