Leviathan!Holidays 2008
Receptions: Friday, December 5, 7 p.m.–10:00 p.m. in conjunction with Oakland Art Murmur First Fridays Leviathan!Holidays 2008 Leviathan!Holidays 2008 is the end of the year art extravaganza at the Front Gallery. Truly unique gifting for Holiday giving and for yourself. A massive installation sculpture by Danny Schieble and Zara Hayes creates the centerpiece for one third of this show. The piece lends its name to the show, Leviathan!; see to believe. Dave Meeker’s delightful, fascinating and aware light sculpture will greet visitors at the front of the Front. Very special, and not at all available at your local Macy’s. The walls are covered with the work of fifteen well known and well regarded artists in a print show curated by Art Hazelwood. There will also be several hundred limited edition prints unframed and very affordably priced in bins located around the gallery.
