This event marks the Southern Exposure’s first 39 years of unwavering commitment to visual artists with a party on Alabama and 20th Streets. The afternoon and evening activities feature live performances by Cliff Hengst, Pawel Kruk, Lucas Murgida, Peter Simensky and Michael Zheng in conjunction with The Long Conversation, a project by Artists in Education students and nearly half a dozen presentations by past Alternative Exposure grantees. Food trucks will be on site, drinks will be available. The event is free and open to the public, with extra special surprises for Southern Exposure members.
