Black Water
HANG ART presents 'Black Water', a solo show of new paintings by Freya Prowe. 'Black Water' will explore the artist's continued fascination with fairy tale and fantasy. With her new body of work, Prowe paints with Sumi ink to conjure a host of characters informed by her interest in Germanic folklore tradition. The exhibition will be on view from February 1-28, 2009. HANG ART is located at 556 Sutter St, San Francisco CA, 94102. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and on Sunday from noon to 5pm. Contact 415-434-4264
