Supernatural Ute Zaunbauer, 'Draft - Trees I' 2009. Acrylic and charcoal on canvas.
Featuring Hang Artists and guest artists, Supernatural is a group show exploring natural occurrences and the ways we perceive representations of nature. Super, natural could include a budding tree, the calm of a snowfall, or the explosion of a star. The impetus of this exhibition is not to present environmental art, but instead to celebrate the myriad ways that nature touches our lives. Featuring work by Facundo Arganaraz, Sukey Bryan, Ed Calhoun, Thomas Frongillo, Nicholas Van Krijdt, and Ute Zaunbauer. The exhibition will be on view February 1-28, 2009. HANG ART annex is located at 567 Sutter St, San Francisco CA, 94102. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday and Monday by appointment. Contact 415-434-4264
