World-renowned Catalan clown Charlie Rivel and his stage partner Witzi find themselves in a precarious situation when the duo are “invited” to perform for the Führer’s birthday party. Inspired by an actual encounter between Rivel and Hitler, the film explores the relationship between art and politics in this story of innocence in the face of barbarity. (2007, 93 min, digital video) $8 regular, $6 YBCA members, Jewish Film Forum Members, students, seniors
