OPENING reception : Friday, January 18th, 2008 6.00pm - 8.30pm American Ironic Company, the world's leading producer of post-consumer ironic material, is pleased to present: 'POPOGANDA: Heroes and Leaders from the Early 21st Century of New China'. These works of oil are carefully produced by our highly skilled painters at our studios in China. The show features portraits of heroes from the early pioneering days of the soon to be acquired continent, previously known as 'Mostly Canada'. 'Popoganda' honors our brave leaders of politics, art, food, music, and the environment. Overseen by Nick Graham, a Canadian who has won numerous awards for his pioneering work in developmental irony on young mammals, 'Popoganda' has something for everyone, and absolutely nothing for no one.
