The Museum of Pocket Art began five years ago in response to Walter Mosley’s notion that everyone should carry with them a small artwork to enrich their day and share with others. MoPA introduces artwork from contemporary artists in an intimate and personal way. The Museum displays works of art created to fit inside a wallet. MOPA is mounting a special exhibition of their wallets in the Front Gallery at The Lab, and a museum representative will be on hand to showcase the work in an intimate way.
