Lincart Gallery is extremely pleased to present our third solo show with celebrated Bay Area artist Tucker Nichols. The show will feature a site-specific wall drawing, a window installation, and elegant groupings of his signature “note-to-self” drawings. It will also include text-based painted panels that remind us of the absurdity of our advertising-saturated world. The content of Tucker’s work, whether abstracted or representational, is just loose enough to propel us to discover our own personal connections. As co-owner Charles Linder says, “It’s city mouse meets country mouse in this urban provincialist’s menagerie of skylines and trimmed hedges.”
