The world class San Francisco Tribal & Textile Art Show is the most important show of its kind, and is considered the top tribal art event in North America. The 2017 show will feature a special exhibit on Indonesian textiles with Gamelan music and Indonesian foods for the opening night Gala benefiting the de Young Museum. One of the first art fairs to focus on the highest quality tribal arts, the show has been instrumental in elevating the appreciation of ethnographic arts in the United States. The 2017 show will present materials from indigenous cultures worldwide including Asia, Africa, American Indian, the Pacific Islands, and South America.
