This all-but-forgotten dose of hippie counterculture is basically a deranged psychedelic desert romp set in the Old West (but shot in Northern California). It features drunken flower children, sing-alongs, right-wing conspirators, split-screens, tinted and solarized film stock and an enormous amount of naked writhing in the dust. Gold stars improvisational comedy legend Del Close, along with fellow member of San Francisco's The Committee, Gary Goodrow. Featuring original music from MC5 and Ramblin' Jack Elliott. (1968, 91 min, digital video restoration).
