By using basic and humble materials and processes, the artists in Alchemy create work that revives, transforms and restores our sense of wonder. Documenting more of an experience and less of static results of a process, the work ranges from sculpture, photography, video, installation, and drawings. Curated by artist and SoEx Curitorial Committee member Sarah Smith, the exhibition features work by eight West Coast artists: Ellen Babcock, Brice Bischoff, Michelle Blade, John Chiara, Randy Colosky, Adam Hathaway, Christopher Sicat and Lindsey White.
