The Marcus Kelli Collection
"We have absolute confidence in our science, which enables problems to escape us, and we fall back on a miracle brought to impossible life between electrons and wishful thinking" - (Marcus Kelli marginalia from Human Destiny) The Marcus Kelli Collection Artists Reception- March 31, 5:30 - 7:30pm The Marcus Kelli Collection is an event created and curated by Danielle Schlunegger for her BFA Sculpture Solo Exhibition at California College of the Arts in the Isabelle Percy West Gallery, Oakland Ca. The belongings of Marcus Kelli, a little know naturalist and amateur adventurer, have been acquired and will be presented to the public this Spring. It is the hopes of not only the collection's staff but also the estate holders, curator, and friends of Mr. Kelli, that the public will be able to learn not only about the advances made in the field of Naturalism in regards to his work, but also that they may take a glance at the man himself. The Collection offers up a new form of an interactive institution where you may leave your own life for a moment and fully immerse yourself into the world of Marcus Kelli. We cordially invite you to flip through his books, read letters to correspondences, and carefully handle many of the objects in the space. Please come and enjoy this special exhibit while it is in town! Gallery Details: Isabelle Percy West Gallery (Located next to Nahl Hall),
