Concrete Pony Sarah Nuernberger Artist Reception
Conifer is excited to present Sarah Nuernberger's photo show Concrete Pony. Sarah Nuernberger wants to capture life often overlooked. As long as she can remember she has been fascinated by the people and places that have brushed her path of life. At an early age, she chose photography as a means for retelling the stories she had witnessed and even some that she had just imagined. Her skills were nurtured during high school, then honed by accomplishing a degree in Photography from Drexel University and diving into the world of freelance photography immediately after graduation. It has been a recent project of Sarah’s to shoot her love of the road and the back road characters she encounters. Thousands of miles, innumerable road sodas and burritos later, Sarah is displaying the fruits of her labor. This body of work had won her a prestigious spot at the LOOKbetween photo festival in Charlottesville, VA, where she displayed her work in a slideshow format to a packed audience of photo professionals. Sarah lives and works in San Francisco.
