Mirror, an exhibition of Lower’s most recent photo and text-based work, considers aspects of uniformity and uniqueness within common experience. Examples include twins wearing the same shirts, same haircuts, pet cloning, singular images vs. multiples, coincidence as intermeshing of information sources, and subjective associations generated by shapes of the global market. The mirror as central metaphor connects the artist’s experiences with broader overlaps of production and multiplicity.
