Lunada Literary Lounge & Open Mic
Galeria de la Raza's 40th anniversary season continues to sizzle with LUNADA'S October line-up. Making their debut appearances on the Lunada mic are L.A. based poet XOCHITL- JULISA BERMEJO & Bay Area songstress ROXANA DAMAS. And, as always, the OPEN MIC is waiting for you! Hosted by series curator: Sandra Garcia Rivera LUNADAS is the Bay Area’s only full moon literary and performance gathering featuring community poets, local legends, visiting mystics, and other mero meros of the stage. Located in the heart of the Mission District at Galería de la Raza, LUNADAS are community gatherings where stories, food, songs, and spirit are shared. $5 or FREE with food dish to share, or with Galería membership. Open Mic sign up at entrance. Musicians and first timers welcome.
