SpaceCraft's first Thursday performing and visual art show was launched in July of 2009 by resident artists of CellSpace, a non-profit dedicated to providing a supportive public environment for the exploration of art, education, performance, and community building. Ever since, SpaceCraft has featured the current work of its resident artists, local guest artists, and the international artists-in-residence of CellSpace's Project 2048.
The show is curated and executed by participating artists bringing the DIY spirit of the bay to CellSpace Art Gallery. SpaceCraft's anniversary show was featured in the San Francisco Chronicle. The monthly shows continue to provide an open forum for experimental art and music, a space for resident artists to present their current work and a welcoming atmosphere for emerging local artists.
Join us every 1st Thursday at the CellSpace Art Gallery from 7-11pm.
