Featuring beats culled from a variety of popular hip-hop and visual accompaniment via an overhead projector. Nicole Milchak Some of Nicole’s interests are form without function, formal functions, warm baths, literature, train travel, pink desserts, rain boots, and the month of June. Her art practice is interdisciplinary. she works in drawing, sculptural methods, moving and still image, as well as costuming and installation. She combines these methods in order to construct an alternate reality, a fantastical arena, for the operation of flashback, playback, and backtrack. LiVE WORK is an artist-run project space that promotes experimental works in the areas of performance, live events, theatrical works, situational interventions, and other time-based works. It is particularly interested in works that do not yet have a clean category and challenge the established practices. It creates an environment that fosters creativity by emphasizing the process. It also provides mini-residencies (with a kitchen and a bedroom) to support special works that require the artist to be on site for a period of time.
