Company of Killers
The Shooting Gallery is pleased to present Company of Killers, a solo exhibition by Los Angeles based artist, Morgan Slade. The imagery in this exhibition deals with themes of consumerism and consumer symbolism as they relate to communication and to our identification of the self or the group. Company of Killers will include approximately 10-12 mixed media pieces on photographic proofing prints. Slade’s choice of mixed media will include acrylic, pen, ink, pencil, collage, Swarovski crystals, spray paint, vintage wallpaper and more. The opening reception for Company of Killers will be held at The Shooting Gallery on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 7-11 PM. The exhibit will be on display through February 5, 2011 and is free and open to the public.
