Opening reception: Friday, February 29 from 6-9pm Gallery 16 is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by Alex Zecca, his third solo show at the gallery. These new drawings are the result of his obsessive and precise methodology, and are time-intensive, process-oriented works made through a laborious process of accumulating steady inked lines. 'Color, mixing, reaction, and saturation, as well as sequence and systems are the visual dialogue central to my work.' These new images follow concerns in Zecca's work that take a cue from process art, design, and minimalism.
