"At Bay II" is the continuation of a project initiated in 2010 by Miguel Arzabe and Bonnie Begusch (both UC Berkeley MFA 2010) to bring a larger group of Bay Area MFA students into dialogue with the Berkeley community. Recipients of the 2010 Murphy, Cadogan and Phelan Fellowship Awards, granted by the San Francisco Foundation, will represent their MFA classes of 2011 at San Francisco State University, California College of the Arts, Mills College and the San Francisco Art Institute in a showcase of their work at the Worth Ryder Gallery alongside UC Berkeley awardees Narangkar Glover and Chris Vargas. In support of exemplary student artists, the Phelan, Murphy, and Cadogan Fellowships in the Fine Arts offer multiple awards of $3,500 to graduate students for continued academic study.
