Artists Kurt Kemp & Mark Perlman will once again be in the Aurobora Press studio working on a collaborative project. Both these artists have worked together on and off over their twenty-year friendship, creating works that combine the illustrative etching hand of a master printmaker with the gestural scarification of an encaustic painter. The works that will be created in the studio will be part of a morphing installation in the gallery. The artists encourage visitors during their studio time to engage with them as part of the creative process. Alongside this newly created body of work, will be a selection of monoprints & monotypes from the archive that these artists completed during earlier residencies.
