Mina Dresden Gallery is pleased to present Bird Cat Dog the first San Francisco solo exhibition by New York artist Eric Ginsburg. Ginsburg puts a new twist on the Renaissance tradition of portrait miniature painting. Ginsburg is known for his palm-size paintings and for his humanistic approach to pet portraiture. Ginsburg's whimsical, not quite representational paintings of birds, cats and dogs are as amusing and delightful as they are captivating. His humble works, are wonderfully unique, and the marvelous little creatures portrayed have a particularly bright emotional quality, full of artistic zeal. Ginsburg received a master's of fine art degree from Columbia University and his paintings have been exhibited and are held in private collection throughout the U.S. and in Europe.
