East Bay Open Studios Preview Exhibition

For two weekends in June, over 400 artists will open their ateliers, studios and workshops to the public during East Bay Open Studios to present art as varied and diverse as our vibrant community. With so many artists and so little time, how does one choose where to visit? A great way to plan your foray into art is with a visit to the Preview Exhibition, running May 3 – June 12 at the Pro Arts gallery in downtown Oakland. This “living catalog” of artists’ work is the largest and best cross-section of work made in the region, and a convenient way to discover new artists to explore further during an expedition to East Bay Open Studios. Gallery visitors are invited to create their own “Top Three Must See” recommendations from among the participating artists, which will be shared throughout the exhibition period. Then, on June 2nd, please join us from 7-9 PM for the artists' reception.
