Opening Reception Saturday June 4Th 1pm-5pm
San Francisco based artist, Robert D. Harris, formally studied art in San Diego, Australia and Turkey before moving back to the Bay Area to pursue his art career. Since his return he has participated in various group and solo shows and continues to paint live at a variety of events. Harris’ work has progressed into distinguished and highly recognizable pieces that are displayed in public and private collections worldwide. More recently, he has tapped into the curating realm, providing services for gallery owners and fellow artists.
Harris infuses historically recognizable art styles in his work to create an original style of his own best described as Neo-Abstract. His work is multidimensional with each dimension complimenting the next. From his use of fusing contemporary concepts with figurative images, to his choice in compositional elements, to the color palette- Harris’ work is layered with energy. With every piece created he intends to offer the viewer a dose of insightful creativity and human expression.
