Feast of Words: A Literary Potluck Goes Back to School With 826 Valencia & Old Skool CaféPost an Event »

Feast of Words: A Literary Potluck is going back to school on the theme “Schoolhouse Rocks" on September 20th and welcoming youth literary and culinary guests for the first time in its one-year history. The featured reader and guest chefs come from a collaboration with two Bay Area non- profits which provide skill development opportunities for local youth, 826 Valencia and Old Skool Café. Take a trip down memory lane with a modern twist on your childhood favorite and don’t forget your homework: a potluck dish to share and a #2 pencil for our creative write-off! Feast of Words is a monthly potluck hosted by Irina Zadov and Lex Leifheit where writers and foodies come together on the 3rd Tuesday of each month to eat, write, and share.
