Curating the class of professor Ian McDonald, “Return to Craft,” this exhibition examines the longstanding and complex relationships between art and craft; the eye and the hand; the process and the final product; handmade and technology; and, the artist and the viewer. Through a variety of media, the artists explicitly and implicitly address the “hand”, the “eye”, and their coordination (or lack thereof) by challenging how we create.
