Opening reception: Friday, November 18, 7 – 10pm In Something Something, Nick Almquist, Kelly Lynn Jones, Maysha Mohamedi, and David B. Smith recontextualize old and new technologies, pop culture, and internet commodities. Through sculpture, works on paper, painting, and video, the four artists inspect their personal interests and create artworks that act as placeholders for the original source materials. Something Something attempts to shift our collective understanding of ordinary things by “saying” them twice, visually. Curated by Sarah Hotchkiss & Carey Lin
