The SFMOMA Artists' Series features limited-edition products created in collaboration with artists and designers in the SFMOMA collection and available at the MuseumStore. The latest series of posters, shirts, mugs, sketchbooks, and tote bags was designed by Oakland-based artist Jason Munn. Munn will make a special in-store appearance to sign posters as well as his 2010 book of music posters, The Small Stakes.
Originally from Wisconsin, Munn began making posters almost ten years ago for local venues and independent musicians, designing under the pseudonym The Small Stakes. Now, working under his own name, Munn continues to focus on posters, as well as design and illustration commissions. A selection of his posters are part of the permanent collection at SFMOMA.
