Show Description
Through her work, Cybele Lyle explores the connections between constructed space and subjectivity. She creates personal spaces that take on a physical presence, transforming architecture in to a relative and negotiated space.
Luca Antonucci approaches the field of astronomy as a practice that engages in a delicate balancing act between hope and truth, framing our vision of the universe in to a systematic categorization of existence. Through his work, he questions the position of the viewer and the romanticism inherent in representation, instilling a practice that parallels technical science by creating a link between concept and the mechanics of production.
This exhibition is concerned with the definition of space as both an entity, a relationship between entities and a conceptual framework. This is not an attempt at a hierarchy of thought, but rather a conversation that allows for a collapse of structure, in both literal and figurative terms.
