Chris Evans - Musical Performance
Musician Chris Evans responds to Ernest Jolly's installation, Labor Party with Limbo Suite. With cello, looping pedal, and recorded samples, Evans builds a performance that references thematic content in Jolly's work. Chris Evans is a cellist, sound artist, and dancer. Her interest is interdisciplinary collaboration and improvisation. Recent collaborations include Nzoto Installation at ODC and MOAD, Freedom Study, Black Choreographer’s Festival, Dance Mission and The Garage.
