Opening reception for the artist February 4th, 3:00 - 5:00 PM George Krevsky Gallery is pleased to present Mary Vitelli Berti: People & Places. Showcasing 15 years of figurative oil paintings and pastels, this will be Mary Vitelli Berti's first solo show on the West Coast. Working from her Long Island studio, the artist harnesses color and light, inviting us on a journey to explore the People and Places that inhabit her world. Mary Vitelli Berti holds a B.A. and M.A. from Long Island University. She has exhibited her work widely in both juried and solo exhibitions including, National Academy of Design, The National Arts Club, Salmagundi Club, and Parrish Art Museum in New York, Hermitage Museum in Norfolk, VA, Robert Kidd Gallery in Birmingham, MI, and Harmon-Meek Gallery in Naples, FL. Located in San Francisco's Union Square District, George Krevsky Gallery specializes in 20th-century American Art in the figurative tradition, including the Ashcan, Regionalist, Modernist, Social Realism, as well as Northern California contemporary artists. Established in 1992, George Krevsky Gallery is a member of the San Francisco Art Dealers Association.
