Filmmaker Dominic Angerame presents his series, "City Symphony," five short black and white 16mm films portraying the urban landscape of San Francisco, as well as footage filmed in Cuba during his 2006 visit. Noted SF experimental filmmaker Dominic Angerame has been traveling for the past 2 years to the Havana International Film Festival presenting experimental films by makers from the US and abroad. Angerame was the first to present such films at the festival and this tradition is continuing this year with plans to attend and present a program of films made in the United States from the 1960's. The funds raised from tonight's benefit screening will help to finance this trip.
