Opening Friday July 20th 2012 6:00 – 9:00 pm, Free, 21+ The ladies of Femme Cartel are curating an art show of gallery-quality illustration/drawings/paintings on fashion and/or personal style, especially in the girly/urban context. As the art world begins to take more seriously the art of fashion illustration, Femme Cartel is launching a show to highlight the freshness and vitality of this art form. The show will also forefront the ways in which fashion can be a tool for self expression: a fun/smart/cheeky mode of portraying one’s unique lifestyle, values, and/or identity.
