Flat File Program Lauren Ari, #8, 22" x 17", paint, dictionary
Opening July 24th, 2012 and on view through September 1st, Fouladi Projects is excited to share artists from the Flat File Program. Exhibited artists include: Lauren Ari, Karen Barbour, Brooke Grucella, Pablo Guardiola, Penelope Krebs, Jack McLean, Quenton Miller, Guy Overfelt, Mike Park, Erik Parra, Gail Tarantino, Susan Ann Vaclavik, and Anne Veraldi. The Flat File Program encourages the creative community to physically connect with artwork, put on the white gloves, and open flat file drawers to explore a range of artists and their artistic processes. The exhibition in the main gallery will feature both framed and unframed works on paper, highlighting artwork's accessibility for all levels of art collectors. About Fouladi Projects: Fouladi Projects offers relevant and inspiring contemporary fine art complemented by carefully curated functional works in an inviting gallery setting. Our Contemporary Art Program continues to span a wide range of mediums including painting, drawing, conceptual sculpture and installation. Complementing our roster of contemporary fine artists, the Maker Program was established to further inspire and assist our growing community of artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts in discovering new works of art. As an established Bay Area gallery working with emerging and mid-career artists, we unite our programs with art enthusiasts, whether they are a seasoned collector or a first time buyer. Through programmed exhibitions, studio visits, artist dinners and performances, we encourage our community to engage in an ongoing integration of art and life. Art fair participation and thoughtful promotion furthers our commitment to supporting our artists and makers on their creative journey. We look forward to introducing them and their work to you. Art is an essential component of living a full life. It provokes us to see things afresh, exalts our senses, connects us to each other and the world in which we live.
