In 2006, photographer and budget adventurer, Graham French made a journey with his pal Lee, from San Francisco to the Southern tip of Argentina. This was no ordinary college hippie backpack mission. No barefoot bead trading for these two. This was worse. Some hair brained scheme cooked up late night in the Tenderloin, fueled by cheap beer and I would guess… a gnarly break up? Two friends. Two 1979 Puch mopeds. A few bucks and six months of riding (or pushing) at a max speed of 30mph . WTF! …Sounds like hell to me…but I’ve seen the photographs….I’ve watched the trailer…looks like a pretty amazing trip! Prepare yourself for MOPED TO SOUTH AMERICA!
