Incline Gallery is proud to present New Works, an exhibition featuring the works of Albert Reyes and Brian Perrin. Albert Reyes is a Los Angeles based artist whose iconic drawings explore political and social issues by appropriating images from Popular Culture and infusing them with a playful and often haunting twist. Reyes drawings are far from regurgitations of pop imagery, they become comments on the brutality of war, homages to heroes and villains, social criticisms and in the end a series of very personal, yet familiar scenes.
Brian Perrin is a San Francisco based artist whose recent work explores aspects of four dimensional geometry and the idea that although we can never experience a fourth dimensional object we can imagine what those objects may look like from their three dimensional projections. This exploration has lead to the construction of several wood and plexiglass sculptures as well as drawings made using crocheted fishing line. New Works can be seen at Incline Gallery from September 28 through October 26, 2012. Please join us for the opening reception Friday, September 28 from 6-9pm at Incline Gallery, 766 Valencia st. SF, CA.
