SFAI Film Screening: I am Cuba (Soy Cuba)Post an Event »

Director Mikhail Kalatozov's 1964 cinematic masterpiece, I am Cuba (Soy Cuba), was intended as propaganda in support of the Cuban revolution as it transitioned from Batista to Castro. Join the San Francisco Art Institute for a screening of this historic film and better understand the utopian idealism of the communist era.
This film screening is one of three to be held in conjunction with the Temporary Structures exhibition. Don't miss Playtime by Jacques Tati (October 15) and Urs Fischer by Iwan Schumacher (November 19). For more information about the exhibition, please visit: www.sfai.edu/tempstructures
