Scholar and curator, Sheeka Arbuthnot, presents her research on contemporary Cuban art. She examines Cuba’s cultural production of its own contemporary image through the visual arts. Institutions such as the Havana Bienal, Instituto Superior de Arte and the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Wifredo Lam will be discussed.
