CRE8
Swarm Gallery is proud to host the exciting upcoming event: CRE8! Please join us for this exciting evening, Wednesday, November 12, 7-9PM, for an artful fundraiser benefiting Oakland's Peralta Elementary School creative programs. $20 at the door gets you a dance party (local dj Peter Van Tassel aka reggaedelgado-hip-hop/reggae), wine, beer, Lanesplitter's pizza, Bakesale Betty cookies, Cactus Taqueria chips/salsa, & more! 8 artists will be painting live "Messy Monkey style" (ie, with brooms, their feet, turkey basters, toilet bowl plungers, etc.) And, West Oakland rapper Dan K. Harvest is going to mc the whole thing, & live auction the paintings off immediately after they're painted. Come support your local schools and artists, and have a great time. Come join the party, with a great cause with a direct impact. ARTISTS Scott Courtenay-Smith, James Fernella, Calvert Hand, Sylvi Herrick, Brian Lilla, Carla Paganelli, Matt Szymankowski, Cleo Vilett
