SFMOMA ArtBites: Art of the Black Rock Dessert
Join the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art's Modern Art Council on the go for an adventure in the (virtual) desert! Come for an evening of delicious bites, seductively spicy signature cocktails, music, and thought-provoking discussion. Our panel will consider large-scale collaborative, interactive, and temporary art, and examine how public art is being created and installed in surprising new ways. We will explore a variety of multimedia projects, from temporary installations to interactive sculptures, discussing the intersection of festival art and contemporary art practices.
