Alice Wiese presents her series of meticulously hand embroidered canvases comprised of dissected and reconstructed patterns. The patterns created are at once chaotic and calming with underlying currents of order and repetition. This series is inspired by themes of grief, loss, and change, and the process of rebuilding that occurs while in mourning.
