Mixed Expressions and Pacific Felt Factory are excited to present Fibers & Threads | Works in Paper by Chloe Bensahel from Friday, January 13th through Sunday, January 15th at Pacific Felt Factory. Bensahel is a Franco-American artist who incorporates textile and papermaking techniques to create unique and beautiful works that address human relationships to place and culture. Please join us for the opening reception on Friday, January 13th 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Bensahel will also lead a Netting Workshop on Saturday, January 14th at 2:30. Please check www.mixedexpressionspopup.weebly.com for further details. Chloe Bensahel is a Franco-American artist whose work addresses human relationships to place and culture. Growing up between France and the United States, her work represents a unique way of mending her relationship to place. With it, she creates her own individual cultural narrative exposed to traditions, techniques, and stories linked to materials in the creative process. Bensahel is an alumna of Parsons’ prestigious New School for Design. She has lived, worked, and exhibited in France, Japan, and the United States.
